About the Project: The original-and now famous- "Dubai Chocolate" company FIX was looking for creative names for their newly launching chocolate bar product. In keeping with the brand's vision, I created phrases that incorporated their unique ingredients in a catchy way. The viral Can't Get Knafeh Of It took off, prompting a surge of copy-cat products and a huge following on both social and mainstream medias.

About the Project: When sports broadcasting legend Bob Rathbun and speaking pro Dez Thornton were launching their cutting-edge communications program they came to me in search of a brand name and tagline, as well as a verbal ID strategy and website copy. The goal was to incorporate playful wording and bold messaging while capturing the modern and confident persona of the company. Figures of Speech is quickly becoming the leading communications program for professional athletes, actors, and top CEOs.

About the Project: In starting her safe and fun kids makeup company, the founder was looking for a name and tagline that would abstractly convey the joy and wonder of child's play. Jovy, derived from the word "jovial," was the winner. The tagline Play. Make. Believe. rooted in the phrase "play make-believe," encompasses the whimsy and wonder of childhood while reemphasizing the "make" in "makeup." Since its inception the company has become the leader in non-toxic children's play makeup.

About the Project: "Cannabis + Conversation" is the motivation behind this company, which provides users with a resource to locate products and a community in which to review and chat openly about them. To encapsulate both sides of the business I went for the old double entendre word combo and Bluntalker emerged. We're hoping for a "dope" response to the future launch.

About the Project: When the founders of a digital gig marketplace reached out to me they were looking for a name that was friendly, approachable, and clever. My goal was to say exactly what the site was offering with a subtle nod to the easy-going vibe they were trying to create for the brand. Gigaly did the trick, and it is now a top site for connecting customers with the kinds of professionals they need.

About the Project: The founder of Pretty Biznez reached out to me to create playful names for her skincare products. I wanted to capture the sophistication of the brand, which is focused on highly effective science-based skincare, while also appealing to their youthful target market. Watch Your Tone (toner), Smooth Operator (moisturizer), Get Glowing (serum), and Get Even (lightener) make up the newest line, launching in the coming year.

These bitty brittle slogans, or Sound Bites as I call them, were used for in-house tools and online marketing, helping to promote their image and appeal to the deliciously playful side of snacking.

About the Project: Midwest bedding company Beds by Design has now ventured into the sleepless world of parenting, starting with their innovative rocking baby crib Sway. After working with them on their luxury sheet line Laers they reached out to me looking for a tagline to highlight the the crib's strongest (and quietest) selling point. From Sway To ZZZ captures the idea that if you start with a Sway, your baby (and you!) end in sweet slumber.

The founders of a tech startup created an app to tackle this, and asked me to create a name that would share exactly how they do it. Shopogler gathers intel from every site that carries he thing you want and "watches" the price, so you can jump on it when the time (and cost) is right.

About the Project: Herbal supplement company LiveWise is going through a rebrand, and with that came the chance to name their daily immunity drops. Immuniday was the one. Naturally.

About the Project: When this rising herbal tea company was introducing their first product they asked me to create a simplename and tagline. Herbal RemeTea and its sidekick Herbal Tea For Immunity made it off the cutting floor and onto the store floor.

About the Project: When naming this innovative business concept--combining a Laundromat and a Bar--I knew I had to give it just the right twist. SpinCycle was the way to go, and now I'm just waiting for one to open near me.
